My Progression of My First Chair

Art 160- chair

This chair might look simple to draw to some, but for me it is a challenge. A big one. Some observations I have about this chair is about the proportions of the actual chair compared to my drawing. Second, I notice how stiff my drawing of the chair looks and needs to have more rounded edges instead of completely straight lines and corners. Lastly, I notice how rough the texture of the actual chair is that I will have to somehow portray in my drawing when I am done drawing the base of it.

Drawing is a difficult process for me but with learning the basic terms and using units to measure the actual chair, I am learning a lot!

Something Important About Me

lexa and me

This picture represents the bond I have with my sister. My sister is two years younger than me and although we are 12 hours apart, distance doesn’t change how strong our relationship is. She is a huge part of who  I am. She gives me strength when I’m down, and pushes me when I need it. I am so thankful to have someone like her in my life.

The purpose of this blog is for my Art 160 class.
